Under-reporting an Endemic: Analysis of News Reports on Violence against Women in Nepal (April 11, 2021)

Using datasets of publicly-reported incidents collated by Nepal Monitor (reported by news-media, INSEC, and Nepal Police) between 2018 and 2020, this report analyzes how incidents of Violence Against Women were covered in news-media. This report has been published in collaboration with COCAP’s Nepal Peace Monitoring Project (PMP).
